I am a weaver and writer. My work is inspired and informed by my ongoing pursuit of connecting art and spirituality along with my passion for color, texture, shape and pattern as found in mathematics, nature and sacred geometry. For a number of years I have been on a quest to discover what it means to "have the heart of a weaver". This journey has taken me far beyond the weaving of threads on a loom and into the realm of working with crystals and subtle energies. I continue to explore how the artistic creations of my hands may grace and heal others.
Having taught in both private and public sectors for over 30 years, I bring a wealth of experience to the workshops and retreats I offer on fiber arts, spirituality and creativity-related topics. "Expect the Unexpected" has been a motto of mine as I have learned that patience, flexibility, and an ability to read students' needs provide a safe, playful and creative environment that encourages students to create works that are unique and personally meaningful.
I weave on commission for public and private clients. My work can also be found at select gallery shops.
